i recently got a hiar cut . %26amp;%26amp; the haircuttter cut it way to short . its` all the way up to my ears . i want to get extentions for about 13ins of hair so it can be about 4 inches past my shoulders . how much do you think that`ll cost ? and wear could i get them done at ?

well it depends really if you get them done professionally it can cost around 鎷?0 nt sure what that is in $. but the alternative is buy them at a market/shop quite cheaply and get a friend or your mum or who ever to sew them in. here is how you do it...

1) put half of your hair on the top in a bobble.(out of the way)

2)get half f your hair that is left (at the bottom) an put it in a bobble.

3)braid it across your head ear to ear but not all the way leave about 2 inches before each ear(with any excess hair just braid it back and forth until you get the smallest excess possible) and put a band in it

4) get some cotton the same colour as your hair and literally sew the band at the top of the extensions in to the braid

5) let all of your hair loose and there u have it gorgeous long hair minus the cost :D

also dont worry the needle will NOT hurt you it goes no ware near your scalp just the braid

then to get the out you just cut the cotton and putt (doesn't hurt)

Synthetic is the key word. It's not real hair so it has little or no tolerance to heat styling. You can however get curly extensions. They also have real human hair extensions but I would still be afraid of trying it because they are more expensive.

Synthetic hair is usually made out of plastic, believe it or not. Like any plastic material it melts under extreme heat conditions, this includes curling irons. Human hair can melt and burn from curling irons also, but at a much slower rate. The advantages to using synthetic hair, is that it is generally less expensive. It also tends to tangle a bit less, because it does not have a cuticle on the hair shaft. I would not suggest that you get a bonded weave on your wedding day. It will be harder to manipulate if you do not like the style. With human extensions you can style it almost the same as your natural hair. I hope this helps. Congratulations on your engagement!!!

I get mine at one of those discount beauty supply stores and pay only 40 bucks for the longest human hair. Then, I take it to my stylest to get put in.

I can curl it and brush it just like normal hair. My stylest doesn't charge much to put it in because she's not paying for the hair as well.

synthetic hair extentions cant be curled cos' it isnt flimsy enough to get the style you wanted. synthetic hair gets damaged easily and you'll probably fry the extentions out if you ever do curl or iron them, cos' it aint all real unlike our real hair, cos' our real hair is hydrated that can handle a lil bit of heat, but for synthetic hair, its not hydrated so it burns easily. just be careful and take precautions of this.

you should've gotten the 100% human hair extentions, it costs a bomb to get them done though. but, you can maintain them like you're real natural hair, you can shampoo them with your normal shampoo, but just make sure you go easy on the conditioner so that the stubs that are attached to your real hair wont get loose.

It depends on your 1) hair length and color of your hair 2) whether do you require the salon's hair extensions of you have your own hair extension source and 3) the method of hair extensions that you choose. Frankly, I have done hair extensions before when I wanted to extend my fringe.

To cut costs, if possible, provide the salon with your own hair extensions. If that is possible, make sure your hair extensions are almost similar in color and texture to your natural hair. Most of the extensions cost a bomb because the clients don't have their own hair extension soure.

Of course, the longer your hair, the costlier the extensions are.

Also, it depends on which type of hair extensions method you are going for. There are many types such as including braiding, weaving, bonding, clip-ons, heat shrink tubing, metal tubing and adhesive based fusion. Braiding and weaving is normally for black ethnic hair and the rest are suitable for all types of hair. I chose the adhesive based fusion for my hair extensions previously because it's the best method, it doesn't damage your natural hair and it can withstand chemical processes on your hair. Of course, it's more expensive than the rest.

Tell you what. Pop by your salon the next time round, get a hair wash and casually ask them how much it costs to get hair extensions for you and let them examine your hair type and your hair length. Get their professional advice and cost estimation then decide are you still keen on doing the hair extensions. This way, you get a nice hair wash and a blow dry, while you get consultation from your stylist :)

put LOTS of conditioner in your hair and leave it for 10 mins...then they should come out easier if not then go to the shop that did your extensions or ask the person who did it to get you some BOND remover..and do the same thing...I found conditioner the best an I both do hair extentions and wear them...Dont tug or Pull your hair if you can help it just be patient with it....hope this helps....

they are actually called bonding extensions, i had them. once i got them out the glue was in there for bloody months!!

the way to get it out = get baby oil, rub it in to th glue and comb it out, a little bit painful but works wonders,

DONT PUT WATER ON IT!! after the glues out put shampoo straight on it, even though your hair will be dry. then wash it as normal.

the shampoo on dry hair will take away the greasiness from the baby oil. if you put water on it without the shampoo ( or you can uses washing up liquid which works better) then the grease will be all over your hair.

If you do the extensions which is very expensive to begin with because you would want to get one that is human hair. If you are going to do this, you want it to look right and good.

You glue to your scalp or at the root of your hair. The glue has been known to cause breakage to the natural hair so be careful with it. Also, wearing the tracks in your hair is nerve racking. You have to worry about it sliding off or a track is showing. You have to constantly check it when there are other things to do and think about.

Get a weave cap where your hair is showing in the front and you just comb/blend your hair into the weave cap part that is covering 3/4 of your hair. Very convenient and alot of times you cannot tell.

If you do the weave cap make sure you pick one that matches your hair so it will blend and look nice. This is safe and fun and you can get a couple of styles and change up.

Take someone with you to help you to get the right one. The people in the beauty supply will know how to help you also. I used to wear these until I decided to go natural and wear my hair locked.

It depends on how you want to style your hair. Using glue can be very tricky. It's best if you get someone to help you to make sure that the glued tracks are being applied to your scalp and not your hair. If the glue gets on your hair, you can pull the hair out when trying to remove it. It's not a hard process at all, I just wouldn't advise that you attempt this on your own unless you have eyes in the back of your head :)

It's very difficult to guide you without knowing how you wear your hair. For example, I have done this wearing my hair straight back, and my goal was to add length. I sectioned about a 1/4 of an inch of my natural hair beginning at the nape of my hair line. You measure the weave from left to right of the row that you just sectioned off before cutting to make sure it is the right size and will blend properly. The fit is very important if you want it to blend properly. After cutting the proper size, you add a minimal amount of glue on to the track of the weave. Be careful not to apply to much glue that will spread onto your hair when apply to the scalp. All you will need is a thin layer going all the way across. Press the track on to the scalp of the hair beginning from left to right or side to side, making sure that your hand is pressing firmly at your beginning point and slide across to the other side of your hair. Once the track is secured down on the scalp with the glue, spray "Pump it up" styling spritz on top of the track (not the hair) and blow it dry with a hand held dryer for about 10 seconds. This will allow the glue to adhere properly and prevent slippage. Do not apply any oil to the hair before adding the extensions. This will cause slippage. Part another section of your hair and repeat this process up the front of your hair, or until you get the desired result you are looking for. Make sure to leave the hair out in the front to cover your tracks. Also, buying the proper hair is another issue. It is ok to ask for help in helping you select the correct type of hair to blend in.

oooo why would you want to? They always look so obvious and stiff! Anything you do with a short do will look better! I'm a hairdresser, and please, if you're at your wits end, email me, and tell me your hair length/thickness/style/circumstances and I will tell you how you can make you look your sexiest self! Please! don't spend your money on extensions, they run into 3 or 400 dollars! And they look terrible! You're almost better off going with a wig, and plus, the way they braid the extentions in so tight, it really screws up your natural hair too, especially the thickness of it, and this takes a LONG time to grow out of too.

okay i would say between $200 - ??? it really all depends on what you want.....what kind of hair do you want what length?? how are you having then put in...are the wefts and being sown in or glues in.....are the individuals that are being bonded into your hair....are you getting links put it....also the time that is spent doing it most people charge by the hour.....all the hair costs different prices and i honestly belive you get what you pay for....if you find someone to do it really cheap i think you will get a cheap job....extentions are a big commitment....i had bonded extentisons and links put in the bottom sides of my head about 4 bonded and 2 links on both sides to try them out and add a little color.....by the 4th or 5th day i was pulling they out i was picking at the bonded ones and breaking the seal and pulling them out and the links i had someone remove....so think long and hard your life will change with extensions....you need to do need maintance you need a special brush there alot of work

Don't use GLUE!! It will pull your hair out if it isn't removed with warm water for 5-10 min at a time. If you let warm water run on the glue for 5-10 min it will loosen up and break away but sewing is a lot easier. I personally has done this to my own hair and am not a professional. If you have a mirror in the back as well as the front and have no problem w/ holding your hands above your head then you can do it it just takes patience and saves a lot of money once you get a hang of it. Here in Louisiana it cost between $75-$150 not including hair.

Try a sew in. It is when your natural hair is corn rolled in a circle"beehive", or corn rolled straight back, and weave tracks are sewn in with a special needle and thread. I use hair extent ions , but don't use the ones that get glowed to your hair . it will ruin you hair , I know from experience . Get an extension with the same kind of hair and color of your hair . and the hair dresses at the beauty shop will tell you how to do it it is really easy and they look great. How ever every four months you need to take them back so the can make them tight again, and if you take good Care of them they can be used for 2 years

Hey, Yeah hair extensions look real if they r an exact match to

your hair colour your hair is long enough to wear them so u cant notice that they are false and also they must be 100% real hair. I have had 2 sets one from A n A who specialise they lasted a year and every single person said they looked real and my new set from sallys. I love them they look so much better always make sure u hide the clips though but never get the sew in ones as they ruin your hair!! Its not a good look. Take them out @ night and if your swimming and be sure to wash them with luke warm water!! You can straighten , curl and dye most but done put products on them. Hope this helps!! x

I have had several different types and i loved them! out of 7 sets of extentions over 12 years i did have 2 of them with hair that was put on upside down, this was very , very itchy! the best are called great lengths, they used this product in the salon i worked at ! Love them! though a bit spendy about 7-9 hundred for the hair and 2-3 hundred to have them put in.

it depends what kind of extentions u want to get, u can get extentions where they pick small sections or ur hair and glue the extention onto it the only thing is some straightening irons if u were to use them on ur hair can melt the glue thru the rest of ur hair or urve got the option of having wefts of hair weaved into ur hair, this is achieve by taking sections and cornbraiding them across the head then the extention weft is sewen in. this process is less damaging on the hair as the wight isnt pulling on the hair.

extentions are a costly process as u have to go back every 3 to 5 months to get them redone. sometimes it just pays to stick it out and keep it up with the growing process then u no ur keeping ur hair in good condition.

Extensions are expensive (about 300-500 dollars) and must be kept up about every 3 months.(about 150 dollars) They are glued to your real hair after small cornrows are made. They look great for a while, then your hair starts falling out and breaking off at the attachment area. My sister's was going bald in those areas after she had them. It was a nightmare for her. It took her years to get her hair back to normal again. My clients wear temporary extentions. Hair attached to comb-snaps. They look great but they are just a bit uncomfortable.
