Hair extentions for guys?

Im a guy with short ( 4inch) hair who wants to get extentions so I can sport a long hairstyle. by long I mean probably down to the base of my neck. Do guys usually get extensions like this? I know hair extentions for women cost quite a bit. how about shorter hair for men? Would love to hear peoples ideas about this. My own hair is terrible and I have hated how it looked while trying to grow it. This is why Im going for the extentions. What abouthe do it yourself extension kits/ clip ons?

Yes guys do get extentions. Some people call that fruity but if you get them put in correctly people can't even tell. wear your hair back for a while and just take care of it. slowly add more and more extensions so it doesn't seem un-normal growth of your hair. Hope that helps!

that is a little akward that guys put in extensions. it is almost like wearing a wig i mean for guys. im a hairstylist and i have never put in any extensions in guys hair. i think that it might turn out a little weird the results might not be the one you want so be careful i mean it is a risk

Just keep your regular hair clean and healthy and before you know it you will have a head full of hair...hair grows quickly so your new look should be grown in fully in approximately 6 months.

PS-it's summer time and you wouldn't want one of the tracks or extensions to be floating around in the community pool in front of all the ladies.
