Hair extentions !?

i have chocolate brown hair and its around shoulder legnth. i was thinking about getting hair extentions, but i was wondering if i should get clip-in ones or glued ones.

1)would they be falling out?

2)how much would they cost?

3)how long would they last?

thanks.

Hair extentions !?

They last like 15 weeks i think?

Don't get them they are expensive and i know someone who has them and you can see where they've been attatched to her hair, it doesn't look nice!

Hair extentions !?

hair extentions = weave... yes they fall out, yes they are expensive, and they look ghetto! keep your real hair!

Hair extentions !?

clip in ones are better.

1)i wore mine to a gig and moshed all night. they stayed in, just got a bit messy.

2)i got mine from sallys suppliers, cost 鎷? + vat.

3)ive had mine for maybe 4 months. and they are doing fine.

Hair extentions !?

the clip on ones dont look as real as the ones you get onto the scalp.Another good thing about them is you can get different highlights in the clip ons and you can choose a different one everyday. and last but not least their inexpensive and if you decide you want ur hair short again all you have to do is unclip them from your hair.

Hair extentions !?

glued ones.. they can be expensive. id say around 3-500 dollars. they wouldnt be falling out and you may need touch ups just like anything, and they would last mm id say at the least of 3-6 mnths.

Hair extentions !?

clip in extensions are great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got em' 4 鎷?:99

Hair extentions !?

DO NOT GET GLUE ONES THEY DAMAGE YOUR HAIR GET CLIP IN PLUS THEY LAST LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hair extentions !?

I wear hair extensions and have 1B (weave color for chocolate brown), shoulder length hair. It depends on what look I'm going for, as to what kind I wear. If you are A/A be leary of those that are attached to the mini metal combs and placed throughout the hair...the tangle easily and can cause breakage. I, also, avoid glue weaves/extensions....glue is horrible for your your hair and will cause breakage!! Alot of hair stylists do what is called a 'quick weave' which entails gluing the weave onto a stocking cap or your own hair that will be molded down with gel....yuck!! Avoid those as well.

If your weave/extensions are put in properly they should not fall out, tracks should not show, etc. Purchase hair on thinner wefts...the weft is the part of the extension that is attached to your hair (if your getting weave/extensions sewn in). Keep in mind that there are all types of weave/extensions....sew-in, **strand by strand, fusion, lace front, clip on.

If I'm getting a weave or braids, I don't buy 'rack' (store bought) hair because it tends to be dry and bulkly. I usually order my hair from a company in LA. I've been ordering from them for 5 years and have never had a problem. It's called His and Her Hair. The hair tends to be kind of pricy, but I believe in 'you get what you pay for'.

The actual weave/extensions can run anywhere from $100 and up depending the type weave you want and on the area you live in. When I lived 45 min. from New York, I would go into the city and pay on average $200-$350 for weave/extensions that were practically undetectable. I live in NC now and it tends to be more expensive, as there are fewer stylists who do an undetectable weave...those that do, charge out the ***!! Again, you get what you pay for!!

See shesinternational.com. for great examples of all types of weave/extension before and afters!! Amanda Jackson is bad!!

Lace front wigs, also, offer a great alternative to weaves/extensions, but can be expensive (worn by Beyonce, Tyra Banks, Gabrielle Union, etc.)

How long your weave/extensions last also depends on the type of weave you have and the texture of the hair. On average a good weave should last atleast 3 months. You will need to go in for monthly maintenance. Strand by Strand lasts 6 months, but is the most expensive $500 and up. But you will have the perfect weave/extensions!!

If you want the look of extensions, you can try a half wig...they can be purchased at any beauty supply store, come in various lengths, styles, textures...this gives you the chance to decide what look you want/what looks best on you. And they work great in between weaves/extensions...lol!!!

Hair extentions !?

okay so.

i have clip in extensions that are about 22 inches

in all haunesty if you get clip ins they are a hassle to put in every morning and if your going out to a club or dancing they have a tendancy to come loose.

Your best bet is to get them glued into your hair. This is usualy an extra cost of 20-40 dollars.

Depending on how well you keep the hair's conidition in will determine how long they last. Clip ins usually last for a year maybe longer if kept in good condition.

With glue ins they last about a month because the glue comes out. Depending on your hair styleist they maybe be able to re glue them in your hair every month. Sometimes they can only be used once.

Depending on the hair, if you want hair you can curl and straighten you will need to get human hair which can cost anywhere from 150-250 depending on the length. My 22 inches were about 220$.

Synthetic hair you cannot straighten or curl and usualy costs around 100.

Hope this helps!

Hair extentions !?

Clip in ones are so much easier and they can last like forever. but make sure you can get ones that are human hair so you can use things like straightners and curlers on them.

So i would recomend clip in ones. Also they are cheaper. =]
