Can you wash your hair with hair extentions?

I am getting hair extentions and I was wondering if you can wash your hair with them in and use a flat iron because I use one to get my hair staight. Will they come out of you do?

I don't think you are supposed to wash them often, eventually your hair will adjust and not look greasy.

I wouldn't use a flat iron on synthetic hair though, you would probably melt it if you don't have adjustable heat.

i don't know about straightening, but you should be able to wash it because you real hair will be there and it would be gross to leave it, so you must be able to....but make sure you ask the person who will do it BEFORE they do it.....

Yes you can definitely wash your hair with extensions. You have to wash gently, especially at the scalp area (don't scrub to hard). Also you can use a flat iron on the hair as long as the extension is human hair. If the hair is synthetic, the flat iron may cause the hair to burn and melt a little bit.

i read in a seventeen magazine that you should wash your hair every 3 days and between the washes you should use a dry conditioner so your hair won't look oily. as for falt ironing, it depends on what type of extentions you get, if it is real hair then you can flat iron it but don't use too much heat.
