extensions vary in price, depending on the quality, length and style of the hair. some hair can't be heat styled, other kinds can...how you get them placed in (sewn, fusion, etc.) is another factor. most salons will have you come in for a consultation (usually free) beforehand, so book an appointment for one, go in and ask all the questions you need to.

and don't listen to the dumb girl who said they're tacky...if you go somewhere nice with staff that knows what they're doing, the extensions will look great! =]
