Hair Extentions...HELP!?

For those of you who have had hair extentions...what was it like? Did it hurt when you got them in? How long does it take to get them put in? What things can/ cant you do when you have them in? I have been thinking about getting them. I recently asked a near by Salon about them and they said that they only do the tha kinds that you glue in. Which kinds are better? Prices??

Please help! This will be my first time getting them done. (As you can tell)...

Hair Extentions...HELP!?

There are 2 ways of getting hair extensions if i am not mistaken. The first would be to get them glued in. They glue each track in with hair glue. This usually last a month or even longer.Once it is time to take them out then they can use baby oil to soften it up and then they pull it out. It does not hurt. There may be other items that they can use, but when i did mine they used baby oil. The second is getting it sewed in. This last longer. When it is time to take it out all they do is take out the thread. The sew in would probably cost more money since that takes the longest time. My suggestion to u is to see if u can find someone that has gotten it done there and see how they liked it. I went to get my done and once she was finished, i did not like them at all. Be careful because u do not want to waste money and be disappointed.

Be kind to your hair "Don't get them". Depending on the process they hurt ( braided in) and the glue can damage your hair. It is a long process hours.

I did it once, I didn't like them , tooo much maintenance. I am a wash my hair and go person, so if you like to mess with your hair you might like them. Mine were woven in and glued too. they looked good I just didn't like the feeling of the other hair on my back either. they just weren't for me.,
