Any advice on how to cut hair extentions?

I wear the clip-on hair extentions. I use 3 tracks in my hair. I want to cut them into some layers, but don't know how to do it on my own.

I wouldn't. Spend the cash and go to a salon...It would look better..you invested the money into the extensions, might as well take care of them...
