How do I glue in hair extentions by myself??!!??

I want to have longer hair for a new years party tonight, and I have the hair and the glue but I couldn't get an appt for today.... I know that gluing them in isn't the best way to do it, but I don't want them to last very long, so that's why I have the glue. (It is special glue meant for gluing in extentions, not just any glue). Anyone have any tips??

I would have suggested you going to get a wig because gluing your own extensions in can be tricky. It can cause hair loss %26amp; severe damage if it isn't done properly. You must part your hair and apply the glue to the weft of the weave ( the sewn area at the top of the track). Then apply the weft while wet with glue to the part. Press your fingers down on it firmly and wait at least 30 seconds for it to dry properly. Then move on to the next section.

When it is time to remove it, please purchase glue remover from your local beauty supply to ensure you don't lose any hair in the removal process.

I wouldn't. If you can't afford to have it done professionally, don't do it. You will probably regret it. You want to have fun tonight, not be hiding because of a hair disaster.

No, you should get someone to help you %26amp; guide you to do your hair. Anything may %26amp; can go wrong.

Before you apply the glue onto your hair and the extentions, make sure that they are clean and dry. Do not put alot of glue on, only a little. If the extensions do not stay stuck, then but a different kind of glue.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND GLUE (I DO HAIR) IT CAN PULL A LOT OF HAIR OUT IF YOU TRY TO TAKE THEM OUT TOO SOON. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO IT, THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DO IT. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE A ONE INCH AREA(ONE INCH FROM HAIR LINE) AROUND YOUR HEAD SO PEOPLE DON'T SEE THE TRACKS. MAKE YOUR PART, PUT THE GLUE(A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY) ON THE TRACK AND APPLY IT TO THE SCALP, NOT THE HAIR!!!! I WOULD TRY TO GET SOMEONE TO HELP ME OUT. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

No way! Extentions should be left up to the professionals. As bad as you want to say money that is one way you shouldn't cut corners - is your hair. Must seek out and go to a reputable salons that offer free consultations and have them show pics of their work. The only type of "extentions" that you could do and get a way with is gluing wefts of hair known as "tracks" to your hair and those are only good for a few weeks providing that you have someone to guide you, check out You Tube. Just last week I saw a beautician showing people how to do braids might find one that can give you more information on how to glue in tracks.

Don't try glueing your hair extensions, I tried but it ruined my hair. I suggest you use the "clip on" hair extensions, There easy to put on, and you can take them out any time. Or you can try a "half wig" It blends in with your real hair and looks really good. You can get these at beauty supply stores and wig shops.

My advice.....you simply DO NOT do it yourself. This is a job best left to a professional.
