Bonding is when there is a material attached to the top of the extension and they use this tool to melt the material in to your real hair strandd. It can take awhile and be VERY pricey. There are also ones that can be sew on. Make sure you get it done by a professional or it could turn out looking like crap %26amp; fake. Make sure they match ur hair colorr exactly.

i had hair extensions for 3 years. i've had them bonded(tubes attached to a tiny section of hair then heated to your hair with a strand of extension hairs), a weave(where they braid horizontal rows across the back of your head then sew a track of hair), glued in(where its just a row of hair, you can do this yourself, glued to the roots of your real hair), or you can do clip ons. I guess it really depends what you are willing to pay for them. All those methods i listed go from pricey to inexpensive. Hair extensions are maintenance, since it is real hair, but its not attached to your body therefore it will not stay in good health(it can get ratty if you dont maintain it or you are careless) hope that helps, good luck!
